LOFT rounds out 2010 with a notable mention for The Club Penthouse at Phuket’s Kata Rocks condominium development, which was awarded the title of “Best Apartment in the World 2010” at the World Finals of the International Property Awards.
The prestigious trophy was presented to developer Richard Pope and his team from the Kata Rocks, at the gala dinner held at the Lancaster Hotel in London on November 27th, with several ambassadors also amongst the 500 guests in attendance.
The International property awards are sponsored by Bloomberg Television and Google, and are independently judged by 54 international experts from all areas of the real estate industry. Kata Rocks competed with entries from over 110 countries to win the award.
“To not only have the best apartment in the world for 2010, [but also for] our first our development in the Asia Pacific region is really fantastic for us”, responded Jennifer Diaz, PR & Marketing Manager for Kata Rocks, on the night, who was part of the team from Kata Rocks in attendance.
The Kata Rocks Club Penthouse covers an area of 460 square metres over two floors and has a sizable terrace with private infinity pool and uninterrupted views of the Andaman Sea and Koh Pu Island on Phuket’s west coast. The penthouse apartment was designed by developer Richard Pope and architect Adrian McCarroll, founder of multi-award winning Hong Kong based firm Original Vision.
